Snapshots of October

In the series "Snapshots of" by Dandelion Dust Designs I love the October version. Probably because I love Autumn and the colors in this kit screem Autumn! Also love the wooden alpha in this kit.

Passport to Germany

Released today : Passport to Germany by Heather Z Scraps. When I saw this kit I knew right away that I wanted to make a scrap with it. In 2005 Jaap and I went to Grainau (near Garmish Partenkirchen) for a vacation. What we didn't know was that Grainau celebreated their 700th anniversary. There was this huge parade with people all dressed up in tradional clothes. Perfect for this kit.

I also love the 7 alphas that come with this kit.

Temp-ting Tidbits 3

Woohoo! Dagi is back at Gingerscraps! Her templates are awesome. I worked with Temp-ting Tidbits 3 and made two pages.

The first page is made with Little monsters by Heartmade scrapbook. I used this kit because it is so colorful and matches my photos perfectly. The second page is made with Lazy Daze by CarolW Designs. I just love her designs, full with beautiful papers, flowers and leaves.

Fields of gold II

Fields of gold is a beautiful collection released in September by Mulberry Park Designs. This designer brand is only available in th USA. Today It is realeased @Gingerscraps by Dandelion Dust Designs. Now it is available all over the world. For this occasion I made another page.

Viva la Frida

Last weekend we visited the "Drents Museum" in Assen. There was an exhibition of "The art and life of Frida Kahlo" It was a very interesting exhibition. Not only her art but also some of her personal posessions like her clothes, corsets and jewelry. This woman had a hard life but she was so strong!

I made this page with Lazy Daze by CarolW Designs and I used a template by Tinci, Scrap it easy 9.

Any day now

Any day now is a collection for all mothers and grandmothers to be. Is it a boy, or is it a girl. Maybe you don't want to know and will it be a surprise or you do know and have a gender reveal party. Whatever your situatio is, this is the collection for you!

S'more good

S'more good is released at Gingerscraps yesterday. Ginger writes : "sticky, gooey, sweet and yummy. Dripping chocolate, toasty marshmallow and crispy Graham crackers combine into one delectable treat and one absolutely delicious collection! S'more good is an adorable little collection full of the colors of the tasty treat, but this collection isn't just for S'mores. Nope. Not at all. Those colors just scream everything Fall!

Right! But I made a s'more page.

Travelogue collection

Guest designer at Gingerscraps, Dunia Designs, released a wonderful travel collection. Packed with word art, flairs, journal cards and travel elements. There are also six templates, all 1800 x 1200 pixels. Al together they form a 12 x 12 layout.

It is called Travelogue collection.

Another template challenge

In the past the template challenges at Gingerscrap were posted on the first and half way the month. It happened more than often that the second one was forgotten. Now they post them both at the first. I like template challenges so of all challenges I make this one first,

I chose Little monsters by Heartmade Scrapbook, because she is my DP for this month. The template is provided by Meg Scott Studio.

The first template at Gingerscrap this month is by Scrapbook Crazy by Robyn. I filled it with photos taken at the Screech Owl Sanctuary in Cornwall. The kit I used is the DSD Grab bag Bountifall by Aimee Harrison. 

 

Autumn dew

This month "Free with purchase" at Gingerscraps is called Autumn dew.  I just love this collection because of the beautiful colors. Gorgeous blue, mustard yellow and brown to match all Autumn photos.

I also used a template by Tinci Designs, October Memories 1.

Octupurr 31st

It is buffet time, there are a lot of great new collections this month but almost every collection is about Halloween. Halloween is an upcoming event in Europe but it is by far not the same as in the USA. I always struggle with Halloween kits.

The latest collection by Kristmess Designs, Octopurr 31st, is packed with cats, so I could make a cat page. I also used a template by Tinci designs, called October memories 1.

 

DSD weekend

It is DSD Weekend! Time to look for digital scrapbooking goodies. There are a lot of grabbags, cheap bundles on sale right now. 

@Gingerscraps there is a Mega collab by the Gingerbread Ladies. It's free with purchase $20 and packed with alpha's (6), lots of papers, word art and elements.

  

Hello October

I can't believe it is October already, where did the Summer go? Time flies, I also can't believe that I retired from work almost 2 years ago. I've been busy like a bee, was there a time I had time to work? LOL.

A lot of my time I'm scrapping. I do this since 2005 and it is still a fantastcic hobby!

I created this page with the Dandelion Dust Designs Facebook group freebie for October.
