I can't believe it, July is almost over. How time flies. Time for Snapshots of July, the latest collection by Dandelion Dust Designs. It is a patriotic kit in the colors red, white and blue. Completed with an alpha.
For this layout I used a few of my road trip USA photos of 2019. I hope that we can go again next year.
I used another template by Tinci from the newest pack Scrap it easy 10. This time I used a kit by Memory Mosaic called Live to serve.
I'm always having troubles with kits in such bright colors, but I have to admit it worked out well in this page.
I love templates! some days you don't know where to start, a template is the solution! There is a new set by Tinci Designs : Scrap it easy 10. For this page I used Birds of a feather by Ilonka's Designs.
The photo is made by me. I made a lot of photos of this washing line, but the birds flew from one fat ball to another, a lot of photo's are blurred or have just a wing on it, haha.
Another wonderful collection by Mulberry Park Designs, called Barefoot Summer.

The latest collection by Aimee harrison is called A bug's life. Aimee says about this collection: "I am a notorious lover of insects and this collection celebrates all the creepy crawlies you can encounter, especially in the summertime!"
I partly agree, the only insects I really hate are spiders. They give me the creeps, not the little ones but the large black ones. I'm scared of them because they run so fast.
Luckily for me I have a husband who rescues me, he picks them up by his bare hands and puts them outside where they belong. He doesn't have to kill them, I know that they are useful.
Just love this new template pack by Tinci Designs, called Every day moments album 4. All templates in the same style, most of them for a lot of photos. An easy start to create an album.
I made three pages. The first one with photos of Sloten is made with Blossom by JB Studio. This collection is going to be retired, so be quick, it is on sale!
The second page called orchid farm is made with Tickled Pink by Kristmess Designs. I used this kit because of the tropical feel.
The third one is made with the new collection A bug's life by Aimee Harrison. It doesn't matter is you love insects or hate them, it's a wonderful collection.
Complete 10 challenges at Gingerscraps and this kit will be yours! This Gingerbread Ladies collab is called Seaside. Bright colors, summery elements, it's gorgeous.
I made this page using Artsy Blocks 6 by Miss Fish. A template pack I used before and will use over and over.
It is July and of course in the USA they celebrate the 4th of July, Independence Day. Around this time you see red, blue and white new kits everywhere. Also the latest collection by Dandelion Dust called Patriotic Picnic. Let's celebrate and have a picnic!

My design partner this month is Whimpychompers. Her kits contains lots of child figures, so much fun for scrapping childrens photos. For this page I chose Making tracks and Making tracks cards. I is all about riding a motor bike! And that is what my husband loves to do.
For this page I also used a template by Aprilisa, called Picture perfect 229. Also available at Gingerscraps. These templates are awesome, I can use them over and over.
I'm a traditional scrapper and I can be very jealous sometimes when I see really messy art journaling pages. I wish I could do that. Sometimes I give it a try but in my head it is always more beautiful than my final page really is.
But with this new bundle by Memory Mosaic, called Artsy bits 2 I again gave it a try. Not too bad, what do you think?
The monthly mix (Gingerbread ladies collab) for July is called Ocean breeze, yes please! And it is beautiful! I just love the soft pastel colors, light blue and light yellow. Very "Summery" and perfect for all Summer, beach and sea photos!
For this page I used an old photo of myself. It is taken in 1989 somewhere at the Rivièra coast in South France. Sometimes I wish I was that young again!
