Rainy day in Barcelona

When I made this page I realized that it is almost 18 years ago that my husband and I visited Barcelona. Such a wonderful city! Love to go there again but on the other hand there are so many beautiful cities I've never been to. What to choose. This summer we are going to Bremen, Hamburg and Berlin. First things first.

For the birds

I love the brand new template set For the birds by Aimee Harrison. I'm sure I'm going to use this set over and over. The first layout is made with Swinging on a star by CarolW Designs, see a former post from a few days ago. The second one is made with the Gingerbread ladies Monthly Mix called Farmhouse Easter.

Birds

I love birds! I always did. But there is one bird I don't like, it is clumsy, walks strange and looks weird. Besides that, there are way too many of them. I mean pigeons!

Anyway when there is a bird kit I have to have it. This mini by Aimee Harrison is cute and is called "for the birds" The only thing is that there are a lot of birds in this kit but most birds are not European. But still I love it.

Swinging on a star

Love this collection by CarolW Designs. Swinging on a star, all about space! But what I like most are the colors of this collection. Love the dark blue and yellow. 

It was sure fun to work with this collection. I had some old photos from the Houston Space Centre. Jaap visited this Centre while he was for his work in Houston (had some time between appointments) in 2004.

My Peeps

My Peeps is the latest collection by Dandelion Dust Designs, exclusively for Pickleberrypop. Love the soft pastels in this Easter collection!

Dreamland

Dreamland is the latest kit by Aimee Harrison. I don't know how she does it but she produces one kit after another, she is so creative.

For this page I also used one of the new templates by Aimee Harrison called Angeled #1. In my recent post I also used one of these templates.

New life

What is more adorable than new life? A friend of mine and her husband keep sheep for a hobby. Every Spring they are very busy to help the sheep to give birth. My friend always takes photos. So sweet to see those newborn lambs.

For this page I used a template by Aimee Harrison. She has four new sets, I used Angled #1. I also used the new collection by Memory Mosaic called Happy Easter. Love all pastel colors.

Race day

Race Day is a brand new mini kit bij Dandelion Dust Designs. It is available at Pickleberrypop and Gingerscraps. This mini has everything you need for race / running pages. Lots of themed elements but also usable for other pages.

I made a page about the Marathon of New York in 2012. We were a few days in New York before we would fly to Wahington DC for my cousin's wedding. We were looking forward to watch all the competitors of the marathon. Due to hurricane Sandy a few days earlier the marathon was cancelled.

Strange to see an empty grandstand. I used a template by Dagilicious.

 

Template challenge

I love template challenges. Luckily for me there are two template challenges each month at Gingerscraps. This is a template by LDrag Designs. I filled it with the Daily download for April. It is called Little moments by Miss Fish.

 

Bike transport

When you complete 10 challenges this month at Gingerscraps you will receive this gorgeous collection called Pocket full of sunshine. 

I made this page using photos made by friends when they were on vacation in Viernam. I'm amazed of everything they pack on a bicycle. Unbelievable they can still ride with these bikes!

Spring Daises

With the same Spring Daises by Karen Chrisman Designs in my previous post I made another page. For this one I tried to go out of my comfort zone and made a white space page. But it wat a bit too white for me so added a little top cluster. LOL.

 

All year April (2)

It's Buffet time! This month I chose for a template set by Tinci Designs, called All year: April (2), She has four sets in total but I took set two. 

I made two pages; the first one is with April Basics by Kristmess Designs and the second one is with Spring Daisies by Karen Chrisman Designs. Both new releases within the Buffet of April.
