Midnight moonbeams

The latest collection by Dandelion Dust Designs is Midnight moonbeams and is available at Gingerscraps.

Just love the dark blue in combination with the rich yellow. Also love the alpha.

Gingers says about this kit : "It's a crisp, cold winter night. The moon is full. The stars are bright. This collection captures this moment" I think she is right!

Love to decorate

 This month's second template challenge is hosted by PrelestnayaP Designs at Gingerscraps. I also love her templates, that are often with masks.

For this challenge I used Deck the halls by Dandelion Dust Designs. I also used two gold styles by Sahin Designs. If you are ever looking for great styles, go tho the Pixelscrapper site. Sahin has more than 90 beuatiful styles.

Deck the halls

Deck the Halls is the latest collection by Dandelion Dust Designs. Just in time to scrap your Christmas photos. In this collection you find the old fashioned Christmas colors, red, green, silver and gold. There is also an alpha in this collection. I had really fun using this kit. The photo I used is from Pixabay.

Winter forest

 A new month, new challenges! I always start with the template challenges, I just love them. The first template at Gingerscraps is by Tinci. She makes the best templates!

I filled this one with Winter whispers by Alexis Design Studio. The photo of the robin is from Pixabay and the photo of the deer is my own. On my last walk through the woods, she suddenly was there. No rush making photos quick, it looked like she was posing for me!

Gingerbread Lane

Still three weeks to go before Christmas. This year the Holidays will be different than other years due to Corona. The Government has not told us yet what the ristrictions will be but it will be clear that you can't invite too many people to your home. What we do know is that the hospitality sector still will be closed. I'm so sorry for them.

Everyday my husband and I take a walk and once a week I do my supermarket shopping. And once a week Hello Fresh brings me the ingredients for five daily meals. For the rest I stay indoors. I have many hobbies indoors so for me it isn't a punishment, LOL. And as you all know scrapping is one of them.

The latest collection of Dandelion Dust Designs is called Gingerbread Lane. Ginger says :

Owl 4 you

 Owl for you is a very versatile collection. It has fall colors but can be used for all kind events. I used a photo taken in 2010 when we were on holiday in Cornwall. We visited the Screech Owl Sanctuary where sick and injured owls find rescue and treatment. When recovered they are released into the wild again.

It's Bake sale time at Gingerscraps. Every month from the 15th till the 20th some products will be sold at only $1 each! Time to build up your stash with those goodies!

In the Bake sale for Dandelion Dust Design this month is Comfy Cozy. Love the warm colors in this collection.

I made this page with a template by Jen Yurko. Photo is my little nephew Mirii. He was just a few weeks old back then. I can't believe he is already 7 years old at the moment. Time passes so quickly.

Budgies

 When I was young I always asked for a dog, but my parents didn't want a dog. But in stead of a dog I always had budgies. They all were tame and listened to the name Koko. I've had several, Koko one, Koko two etc. Most of them were green. My love for budgies is still there and I told my husband that when we are getting older and stay more indoors I want to have a budgie again.

These photos were taken in Mono Verde, a wonderful parc in Limburg. The kit I used is Always by grateful by Dandelion Dust Designs.

Candy Stash

 This collection is just in time for all your Halloween photos! It is called Candy Stash available at Gingerscraps. Grab it while you can, it is on sale.

We don't celebrate Halloween in The Netherlands but you can se more and more each year. There will be a time that Halloween is just as normal as Valentine's day. Just more and more days to celebrate all coming from the USA. As myself concerned, I skip both!

 A fun kit for birthdays and other festivities. The latest collection by Kristmess Designs is called Party time and available at Gingerscraps.

I made this page for the template challenge at Gingerscraps. The template is by JB Studio and I just love it. All those layers of papers and clusters, awesome. The photo I used is my little nephew Mirii made on his third Birthday. Just can't believe he is seven already.

The journey

The latest collection of Dandelion dust Designs is called The Journey. Ginger sais about this collection: Faith. Hope. Love. If you look closely, The Journey of your life echoes those words over and over. This incredible full kit built on a soft, calm color palette, is meant to help you document the journey. Your own, or that of someone you love.

I just love the colors of this collection, so soft! It is also very versatile. This collections goes well with all kind of photos.

Fall on the farm

 What is your favorite time of the year? Mine is definitely fall! I love the crisp mornings, the falling leaves, the rich fall colors. Love to take long walks through the woods or through the dunes and end up at the beach!

Fall baking

 It's been a while since I last posted on my blog. Lately I didn't feel like it because the weather was still so beautiful that I rather was outside. I have been walking a lot lately! Now the weather turned around to fall temperatures, cold winds and rain. So more time to stay in and scrap.

The latest release of Dandelion Dust Designs is Fall baking. You guess right, it is all about baking. I have to admit that I hardly ever bake, but especially for this kit I baked this banana bread with walnuts and coconut. It tasted lovely and I liked doing it. Maybe I found a new hobby!

Dandalion Dust Designs

A few weeks ago I applied for a guest CT at Gingerscraps. It was only 24 hours on the forum when I got a PM from Ginger, Dandalion Dust Designs. She asked me if I wanted to be guest for August and September. I like her designs, so I said yes. In the last two weeks I completed my pages for these months (can't upload yet, it is not in the store). Ginger liked them so much that she asked me to be permanent on her team. I said YESSS!

So now I'm a permanent CT member. Here is the first page I can upload. It is made with an older kit called Arizona life. It is for the template challenge at Gingerscraps. The template is by PrelestnayaP Designs.

Tropical Parrotise

Watch this great new collection by Kristmess Designs, it is called Tropical Parrotise! It is such a fun collection! These parrots are so cute! This collection is also very versatile, you can use it for many photos, like tropical holidays/vacations, cocktail parties, visits to see parrots and much more!

Amazing Circustances

Kristmess has a new amazing collection. This huge collection is great for photos from the Circus, Amusement parks, Carnivals, State Fairs and much more! It is called Amazing circustances.

I made three pages. For the last page I also used a template by Kristmess Designs, from the August Daze collection. 

Glamping

A long time ago we always spend our summer vacation at the camping. We loved it. But at one point our tent broke and could not be repaired. What to do, buy a new one ar stop camping.

We decided to stop. From that day on we always rented an appartment or cottage.

Now with Corona we wanted to go away for a short time, we were really longing for a few days away. We decided to go "glamping" That is the same as camping but then luxureous. Out tent had a large double bed, a bath, a toilet and a kitchenette. But there was also a restaurant and you could order a meal delivered at your tent.

We had a lovely week!

Wild & free

Kristmess Designs has a new collection. It is called Wild & free. This fun collection is perfect for any outdoor pages whether you are camping in the woods or just visiting the lake or you just snapped a quick photo of a passing animal.  Of course it's great for many other pages too!

GSO

GSO stands for Gallery Stand Out. It sometimes happen that one of my pages is called out GSO. But this week, when I completed two challenges at Just Art and Scrapbooking, my both pages got GSO.
It was for the mystery door challenge. There are 9 doors of which you can choose two. After every door there is a recipe to follow. Always a surprise what the recipe is.

Free as a bird

An other challenge, this time a brush challenge. It is a watercolor brush provided by Kristmess Designs. Great brush! Going to use that brush more often.

For this page I used a photo from Pixabay and the kit I used is Nature's Finest also by Kristmess Designs.

I did 9 challenges this month, only 1 to go for the challenge award!

Sweet memories

For the mix-it-up challenge at Gingerscraps you had to use a map. I used Small world France by Kristmess Designs. The photos are taken in Entreveaux, a little town in the South Alps of France. It was in the year 1989. We were young and very much in love, a vacation never to forget!

Hairdresser

During the lockdown the hairdressers were forced to close too. Since the first gray hair, I think I was in my mid thirties, I die my hair. So you can imagine that after 11 weeks my hair doesn't look very nice. But the hairdressers are open again! So yesterday afternoon I had an appointment. Some people asked me if I wanted to let it go gray, but for me that is still out of the question, don't want to be gray yet.

So here is the new me, happy

Template challenge

Of all challenges I love template challenges the most. Most of the time I just don't use them as they are. I flip or resize them. This template by Down this road designs is flipped too. I used Capture the moment by Kristmess designs to fill it up. Photos are made at the coast of California last year's vacation. I love the beach!

Mini kit challenge

I love challenges. I do mostly challenges at Gingerscraps and Justartscrapbooking. Today I created a page for the mini kit challenge at Gingerscraps. The minikit Spring flowers is provided by Alexis Design Studio. It is a lovely mini, soft pastel colors. The photo I used is from Pixabay.

Magnolious

You have to see this new collection from Kristmess designs! It is really gorgeous. Perfect for all your "Spring" pages but also for feminine pages. And if you have daughters, it is the perfect choice.

This collection is called Magnolious and is available at Gingerscraps and My Memories. I made two pages with this collection but I'm sure there will follow some more.

Slides

During this Covid-19 period and our lockdow we have plenty of time. For me it means more time busy with scrapping. My book of our vacation last year is almost finished (74 pages)!
But I'm also very busy with cleaning up the house. In a cupboard I found several boxes with slides I took home with me after my mother died. What to do with it? Nobody watches slides anymore.
So I decided to make photos of them. I came across this photo, my mother sitting on a pier in IJmuiden. It must have been taken in the late eighties, such a lovely memory!

My job isn't finished yet, if I find more nice ones, I'll be back!

I just couldn't stop playing with this new collection of Kristmess Designs. I really am in love with the colors. On Pixabay I came across this cute cat photo and I new right away that photo and kit were made for eachother.

iNSD weekend

First weekend of May is iNSD in digiscrap world. All sites and designers have huge storywide sales, grab bags and all kind of fun games and challenges.

One of my favorite sites is Gingerscraps.net and of course they have it too. Today I made a page for a "white space" challenge with the provided mini kit by Alexis Design Studio. The photo is taken last year when my husband and I travelled through the Unites States. It is a Golden-mantled ground squirrel. They look so cute! We don't have them in The Netherlands.
