Perfect drawing

I found the perfect tutorial to make a drawing from a photo. I tried so many tutorials, most of them are a lot of work and the result is often disappointing.

This tutorial is only with 3 actions and a wonderful result. I used Roots by Kristmess Designs to decorate it.

Temp-ting duos

The templates by Dagilicious are always gorgeous to work with! Today she released six (!) sets of two templates, called temp-ting duos. I chose to work with nr. 3.

My first page is made with Aviary page kit by Aimee Harrison and the second one with Life captured by Karen Schulz.

Merry little Kristmess

A while ago Kristmess Designs had send a newsletter freebie called Merry little Kristmess. Now she has a added two papers, shabby papers and an alpha to make it more complete. It is a cute collection with traditional Christmas colors. For fun just a litte purple is added.

When this was send with the newsletter I made a page but I forgot all about that. Today I came across this page when I saved my new page. The new page is without a photo. I created the tree myself.

Purple hues

It is so nice to scrap with a kit in December that is not all about Christmas. The collection by Lindsay Jane is called Purple hues. As the title sais it is all about the color purple with some touches of black and white. Really love it.

I used an old template by Dagilicious, called Make it big. Not in store right now.

Snapshots of December

It is already the last kit in the series "Snapshots of" I can't believe the year is already over again! Anyway Snapshots of December is a lovely collection, with a full alpha! You can use it for winter photos but also suitable for Christmas.

For this page I also used a template by Marisa Lerin (Digital Scrapbook.com).

Country Christmas

Country Christmas by Dandelion Dust Designs is one of the three collections she has in the Bake Sale this month. All collections are only $1 a piece, time to build up your stash I would say.

The photos of Toby are made by a friend of my husband. Toby celebrated his 14th Birthday a few days ago.

Explore

Just love the kit Ready to Explore by Karen Schulz. Decided to make another page. I have so many travel photos and this kit is perfect for travel pages. See former post.

This photo is made during our last vacation, we were in Germany, Saarland. Great area for hiking and that is what we love to do!

I also used a template by Maris Lerin (Digitalscrapbook.com). I am a patron there, for $10 every month you can download unlimited.

Jack Frost

Love, love, love the colors of this collection. Jack Frost by Dandelion Dust Designs. It's all about winter, the dark blue and cranberry red are so delightful! It matches perfectly with the creams and greens.

I chose to make a simple scrap with just one small photo, but I saw a lot of pages made with this collection that blew my mind!

Mistletoe Christmas

We do not celebrate Christmas much. We do have a Christmas tree and we eat more luxurious, but that is it. Our family is very small so no family gatherings either. Just the two of us. As scrapping concerns I will be glad the December month is over, all those Christmas kits to work with, pffff......

For the recipe challenge at Gingerscraps I chose from the Fresh baked Mistletoe Christmas by Memory Mosaic (because she is my designer partner this month). I love the color combination with purple. photo is from Pixabay.

Ready to explore

I signed up for two designer partners this month. The first partner is Memory Mosaic and the second one is Karen Schulz. Karen is one of my favorite designers. She really makes gorgeous kits. I chose to work with Ready to explore, a kit all about travel.

I also used a template by Dagilicious, Temp-ting tidbits 3. The photos I used were made in 2016 when Jaap and I made a roadtrip through the USA. A vacation never to forget!

Winter

Winters in the Netherlands are mostly wet and bleak. There is hardly any snow. The last longlasting snow I can remember was in 2010.  Sometimes it snows but it will only last one or two days. I haven't got a problem with that because I don't like snow, LOL. I would never ever think of going on wintersport.

Woodland Kristmess is a wonderful kit all about Christmas, woodland and snow. I have to search for photos on the internet for that. Luckily there are so many sites these days where you can download free photos.

The template I used is by Scrap Chat Designs, a bit altered.

Dad and me (a long time ago)

I love this photo of my dad and me. I think it is taken in 1958 when I was 3,5 years old. We were on vacation, like every year, in Groet, near Bergen aan Zee. We always rented a house there, I remember the days we went to the sea and walked through the dunes. Great times.

For this page I used Yesteryear by Memory Mosaic (see also the former post). The background is made with a template by Syndee Rogers.

Yesteryear

I love scrapping with heritage photos, but not every kit is suitable for those old photos. Yesteryear by Memory Mosaic is just made for heritage photos. Love the gold, brown and beige in this collection.

I used an old schoolphoto of my mother and her eldest sister. This is a school photo made in 1935, ages ago. Isn't it wonderful to have such old photos?

Gingerbread Christmas

Spend $10 or more and you will get this collection for free. It is called Gingerbread Christmas, a Gingerbread ladies collab. It is packed with all kinds of Christmas / winter papers and elements and of course a lot of gingerbread cookies!

I used this collection for the template challenge at Gingerscraps. The template is by Meg Scott Studio. The photos are made by my father in 1959. I was almost 5 years old. Am I cute or what?

No place like gnome

No place like gnome is a new release by Dandelion Dust Designs. Cute gnomes and elegant colors. The right collection for Christmas photos or cards but it goes well with winter photos too!

Deventer by night

My old youth friend lives in Deventer. Last week she posted some wonderful photos on FB and Instagram from her home town. Deventer is at this time of year a city of lights. I asked her if I could use these photos for a scrap and she said yes! Thank you Joke!

I created this page with the Gingerbread Ladies collab, the Monthly Mix called Santa's coming to town. I also used a template from Dagilicious, the most wonderful time (see also post below).

Woodland Kristmess

Most of you know that I'm on the CT of Kristmess Designs. She is a wonderful designer and what I love the most are her collections with watercolor! For the buffet at Gingerscraps she designed Woodland Kristmess. It is really gorgeous. You can use it for nature, Christmas and winter scraps.

I made three scraps, I just couldn't stop and I'm sure I'm going to use this collection over and over.

For the first scrap I also used a template by Kristmess Designs. For the second one I used a template by Dagilicious (she is one of my favorite template designers) and for the last one a template by Scrap Chat Designs (altered).

December already?

I can't imagine that it is already December, why is time flying? This month it is almost two years ago that I retired from work. Just can't believe it, I had never a dull moment, even not while hard restrictions were going on because of Covid-19.

With the "hello" collections by Dandelion Dust Designs I made a scrap every month with a little poem about that month. This one for December is the last wit a poem. The Hello collection is a freebie, available on her FB fanpage, so head over and become a member.
