Glamping

A long time ago we always spend our summer vacation at the camping. We loved it. But at one point our tent broke and could not be repaired. What to do, buy a new one ar stop camping.

We decided to stop. From that day on we always rented an appartment or cottage.

Now with Corona we wanted to go away for a short time, we were really longing for a few days away. We decided to go "glamping" That is the same as camping but then luxureous. Out tent had a large double bed, a bath, a toilet and a kitchenette. But there was also a restaurant and you could order a meal delivered at your tent.

We had a lovely week!

Sweet memories

For the mix-it-up challenge at Gingerscraps you had to use a map. I used Small world France by Kristmess Designs. The photos are taken in Entreveaux, a little town in the South Alps of France. It was in the year 1989. We were young and very much in love, a vacation never to forget!

Slides

During this Covid-19 period and our lockdow we have plenty of time. For me it means more time busy with scrapping. My book of our vacation last year is almost finished (74 pages)!
But I'm also very busy with cleaning up the house. In a cupboard I found several boxes with slides I took home with me after my mother died. What to do with it? Nobody watches slides anymore.
So I decided to make photos of them. I came across this photo, my mother sitting on a pier in IJmuiden. It must have been taken in the late eighties, such a lovely memory!

My job isn't finished yet, if I find more nice ones, I'll be back!
